School pupils took on the role of sports journalists as part of tour of Manchester City.
The children from Crawshawbooth Primary School, Rossendale were taking part in an initiative by the school to inspire pupils to become writers.
Headteacher Mr Willan said the fun-filled day at the Etihad Stadium proved be a huge hit with the pupils.
He said: “The students loved it and thought it was fantastic.
“We wanted to inspire the kids to become writers and find out more about the type of careers there are for them to follow.
“They got the chance to tour the stadium, visited the changing rooms and the media room.
“Later, they watched highlights of the thrilling Premier League title-winning match between City and QPR.
“Then they had to take on the role of sports journalists replicate the type of questions they may ask.
Other students had to pretend to be Sergio Aguero and fans and answer the questions.”
The children also posed with a video image of city manager Pep Guardiola in the media room at the Etihad Stadium
